Advantages & Disadvantages of Wave Power
Advantages of wave power:
* Sustainable renewable energy source.
* Doesn’t use any land at all except for energy tie in to the grid.
* Already a viable energy source and has been tested in real world conditions sucessfully.
Disadvantages of wave power:
* Takes up ocean near shoreline making it potentially hazardous.
* Energy must be collected and delivered to shore or cables run to shore into the grid.
* Potentially a negative to local marine life and general ecology where it’s used.
