Wind Power Advantages & Disadvantages
Advantages:
* Sustainable renewable energy source.
* Fuel source exists everywhere in the world for the most part.
* Has been accomplished on a large commercial scale already.
* Can be built on a home based scale by individuals.
Disadvantages:
* Can drastically reduce local bird populations due to accidental deaths.
* Takes large amounts of land to generate useful amounts of electricity.
* Can’t be economically viable in areas that don’t generate a lot of wind.
* Some critics question if wind power is really sustainable as an energy source.
